- TITLE OF THE ACTIVITY: Inner images

- DETAILED CONTENT DESCRIPTION (150 words or more):

I would like to offer a practical laboratory where I see myself more as a facilitator than a teacher.

My work is based on inner images. It comes from theater. I am using it in dance already for 5 years, but I am still searching, changing and developing the method.

The starting point is a picture (mostly painted by famous painters). I worked also with photos but I prefer pictures. The painted picture gives us more freedom to go to our abstract world. The picture provokes in our body an inner image that makes us move. We start to dance. The work is very individual as our imaginary worlds are so different. We are working on deep level as we are working with our unconscious.

People can discover new things about themselves which make them think and reflect. I think that if we want to change our society we have to start from ourselves. Here where my class is going further than just dance.

My responsibility is to create safe, familiar and open environment, where the participants will feel good to express their deep world. I am also responsible of choosing the images.

Class is starting with simple exercises for waking up our imaginary world. We are not creating an inner image. It came to us by itself. We are not describing the inner image, we became the inner image.

This work is suitable for all people as it needs only an open mind. During one class I can only open the door to the new experience. If someone wants to go further, it needs a lot of practice. Our imaginary world is part of the brain. And brain as all muscles needs to be trained.
