in january 2010 i was asked by joanna lesnierowska of the alternative dance academy in poznan, poland, to teach a five days dance history workshop.
i then dived into my personal dance history discovering a wealth of information, taught to me first hand by originators of various techniques and methodes in contemporary dance in the years 1985-95.

This is amazing. I don't know all of what is going on here but I love the idea that Dance History is learned in by lying on blankets, picking up books, putting them down, and generally moving with complete fluidity between topics, positions and ideas. Very beautiful - would like to know more!
