Thank you for these informations to understand how teaching dance in french schools is.
It's clear for me how you can help a teacher to lead a project with his class. You also say that you can teach about a specific show but I would like to know if there are any projects that you, the dance teacher, leads but not specificaly linked to a show?

I found this document really complete about the different aspects of teaching dance at school. I whish insist on this point : the coordination with school teachers. If the teacher is not engaged in the project of dance at school, it could be very difficult to share all we want to share with the children. At the opposite, if the teacher is really involved in the project, assist to the dance classes and make links to his school program, it became easier to lead children and build a collective avdventure that can change the school life and the children development. Without this complicity, dance at school can be seen as a mere recreation... while we know how much dance can be rich for education of children..
